What is it?

Inflammation of the gallbladder. In 95% of the cases it is due to a calculation inside the gallbladder, which causes obstruction of the passage of bile. Some factors predispose this condition:
• Women
• Obesity
• Rapid weight loss
• Women with previous pregnancies
• Glucose intolerance / Insulin resistance
• Alcohol consumption
• Diabetes Mellitus
• High triglycerides
• Some medicines
